Winter provides suitable conditions for cross-country skiing at Špindlerův Mlýn. Over a hundred kilometres of groomed marked cross-country tracks await you. The main Krkonoše cross-country skiing route passes just about 1.5 km from Valon. Starting points include Horní Mísečky, Hotel Lesana, the confluence of the Elbe and the White Elbe, the Svatý Petr Ski Centre and the Na Pláni buffet.
